Hello all

I've had my knee replacement
And it's GREAT!

I'm on the enbrel and so far my kidneys ar holding up on the half dose. The ra is less active in my blood and I'm only sleeping. FOr 2-4 hrs in the day as opposed to being in bed all the time.

The bone chewing continues speedily and it's accelerating
Not sure what's that's about to be honest
But the feet and other joints are hurtling towards surgery

The anaemia is around 9 so they don't do anything with that.

I'm going for a déxa scan and yesterday had an ultrasound on my hands, summary- lots of swelling in there there's damage too but it was FASCINATING looking at the inside of my hands

Love to all

Jenni xx

Hi Jenni

It is lovely to hear from you, I was wondering how you were doing. So pleased the surgery went well and that you are tolerating half dose enbrel.

Hope the doctors can find something positive to help with the next step.

Best Wishes

Sue

Hi Jenni

Does sound like things are going a lot better now, thank goodness, and that you now out of bed and not needing so much sleep and resting - great news ThumpUp

Its good too that the surgery went so well for you on the knee, hopefully with the same success with the other joints when the time comes.

Thanks for keeping in touch Smile

Love Julia xx

It's so nice to see you posting again and to hear that the knee operation had a good outcome. I'm having ultrasound on my hands too and am really looking forward to seeing what's going on in there. Naomi x
